W007 → Saintes



This series of photos was taken during the summer of 2020 in the capital of the Camargue, Les Saintes-Marie-de-la-Mer. It is a sacred place, especially for the traveling people who come here every year to venerate their Saint, Sara the Black. And for me, the endless and unchanging landscapes also have something mystical about them. They have the power to convey a sense of calm, security, and grandeur.

This series was displayed at the Institut français of Yokohama in March 2023.
